He completed his medical degree at Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by internship training at HCA Healthcare Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point and ophthalmology residency at HCA Healthcare/USF Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida, where he served as Chief Resident. During his training, Dr. Pollack received multiple awards, published research, and presented at regional and national conferences.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Pollack is actively involved in shaping the future of ophthalmology. He serves as a peer-to-peer mentor for other physicians and surgeons, regularly delivering lectures and participating in educational forums focused on advancing surgical techniques, improving patient outcomes, and helping guide the evolution of modern eye care. His work reflects a commitment not just to practicing medicine, but to influencing the direction of the field and raising expectations for care.

Dr. Pollack specializes in refractive cataract surgery and has extensive experience managing glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and dry eye syndrome. He brings advanced procedural techniques and modern treatment approaches that expand the scope and capabilities of Pollack Eye Care, positioning the practice at the forefront of comprehensive ophthalmic care in the region.

He is an active member of leading professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, the Ophthalmological Society of the State of New York, and the Buffalo Ophthalmological Society.
